You can’t go wrong with the orange and mango in this Orange Mango Sunshine Protein Smoothie to create a refreshing glass of morning energy.

Mangos are high in antioxidants, Vitamin C, Vitamin A and B6 while oranges are full of folate and fiber in addition to their well know source of Vitamin C. Greek yogurt, hemp seeds and a scoop of Boomer Nutrition ENERGY Vanilla Protein Powder give this smoothie over 30 grams of protein per glass.

Keep a few seedless oranges in your refrigerator and keep your freezer stocked with chunks of mango. When peeling the orange, include as much of the white outer layer on the orange when you blend it in your smoothie to boost the fiber content.

Adding 1 tbsp of chia, hemp and/or ground flax seeds to your smoothie will increase both the protein and fiber content by 2-5grams.

Orange Mango Sunshine Protein Smoothie


Ingredients

  • 1 Cup
    milk (dairy, almond, rice, soy or coconut)
  • 1 Scoop
    Boomer Nutrition ENERGY Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1/2 Cup
    fresh or frozen mango
  • 1
    orange peeled
  • 1/2
    Banana - fresh or frozen
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Flax, Hemp or Chia seeds (optional)
  • handful
    ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or bullet and blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately.

    Store any extra in ice cube trays in freezer to add to your next Orange Mango Sunshine Protein Smoothie.
