The strawberries in this smoothie are high in vitamin C and with their diverse polyphenol content, they also provide key antioxidants and anti-inflammatory nutrients. The bananas provide B6 as well as potassium, which has been shown to lower blood pressure.

Strawberry Banana Vegan Protein Smoothie


Ingredients

  • 1 Cup
    Almond, Rice, Hemp or Soy Milk - Unsweetened Vanilla
  • 1 Scoop
    Boomer Nutrition Organic Vegan Protein Powder - Vanilla
  • 1/2 Cup
    Strawberries - fresh or frozen
  • 1
    Banana - fresh or frozen
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Flax, Hemp or Chia seeds (optional)
  • Handful
    ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or bullet and blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately.
