Not all green smoothies have to contain spinach to turn them green, the avocado in this Boomer Nutrition Tropical Avocado Protein Smoothie does a nice job of that all on its own.

It is surprising how a little you can even taste the avocado in this recipe and yet you reap all of the benefits of the healthy fats found in ripe avocados.  Add in the refreshing tropical flavours of mango and pineapple and this healthy green smoothie is winning combination of great tasting and nutritious.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup
    Milk - dairy, almond, rice, soy, hemp, coconut
  • 1 Scoop
    Boomer Nutrition ENERGY Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1/2 Cup
    avocado
  • 1/2 Cup
    fresh or frozen mango
  • 1/4 Cup
    fresh or frozen pineapple
  • 1 Tablespoon
    maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • handful
    ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or bullet and blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately.
